The only game I truly care about is the Cubs game.

The others will take care of themselves as far as who makes it and who doesn't. I'm just interested in trying to win the Central!

I do enjoy seeing St. Louis lose, that I admit. Whether it's good or bad for us regarding their place in the playoffs, I'm not worried, like I said, it will all resolve itself.

The only way I am cheering for the Cardinals is if they are playing the Cubs, and a division championship is on the line for the Brewers. Otherwise I hope they don't win a game the rest of the year. There's just to much Cardinal-related heartbreak in the Brewers' history.

As for the other games, go Reds, Astros and Giants! But like you mentioned Turbo, if the Brewers take care of business (actually as long as they don't stub their toe), they are in.

I'd advocate throwing Washington @ Atlanta 6:35PM up on the list as well, as the Braves come into play regarding playoff seeding.

Yeah, maybe, but it would be really tough to both win the division and finish with a worse record than the Braves.

If we win the Central the #1 seed should take care of itself.

I'll add that you should probably care the 2nd most about the Dbacks winning and staying in the hunt. They play the cubs next Monday-Wednesday in Arizona. I'm sure they'd put up a much tougher fight if they were within striking range of the wildcard or division still. If they lose 2 of the next 3, might not care much.

It's a somewhat similar situation with the cardinals. It would definitely be best for them to hang around to some degree as they face the Cubs to close the season, but they are close enough to us in the standings that we want them to lose for now...we just don't want them losing 8 of 10 or something and falling completely out of contention.

I don't think we would have to worry about the cards playing the cubs tough, even if they hadn't done game all year. I just hope the cpreds team that swept the cubs shows up and not the team that got swept by the cubs.

The reds just got done taking 2 of 3 from the Dodgers and won 4 of their last 6. Keep it rolling for 3 more days and then suck terribly next week Monday-Wednesday

I think I know the answer to this, but say the Brewers win the wild card and the wild card game and then beat the Cubs in the NLDS...assuming they have a better record than the other DS winner, do they get home field in the NLCS?

I believe we would not have home field advantage. I'll be happy simply to get to that point.

If true, then I don't care what ATL does.
