Biloxi Box Score

Despite a promising start (three runs in the 1st inning), Biloxi lost on Wednesday 7-3 in game 2 of the Southern League Championship Series.

The vaulted pitching matchup between Zack Brown and Jon Duplantier was a dud. Duplantier walked five batters and gave up three runs in less than an inning's work. Brown was chased in the 3rd inning after giving up five runs - a deficit that Biloxi could not come back from as Shucker bats managed just three hits and a walk over the final eight innings.

Former Brewer Michael Blazek pitched two scoreless innings for the Generals.

The championship series is tied 1-1. The series continues on Friday in Biloxi. Thomas Jankins will be pitching for the Shuckers.
