Biloxi Box Score

Biloxi is heading to the Southern League Championship Series thanks to a dominating pitching performance by Marcos Diplan and some loaded bats, in particular Keston Hiura, who drove in six runs with an HR and a double.

Diplan was outstanding, giving up only one hit, two walks and one run. He struck out 10 to snag the win. Cody Ponce and Brad Kuntz would finish out the game without giving up any runs.

Biloxi had quite a few hitting stars, but Hiura's six RBI (on two hits, including an HR) was the highlight. Trent Grisham had three hits, while Weston Wilson and Troy Stokes, Jr. each had two hits.

The Shuckers will begin the Championship Series on Tuesday night, September 11. That will give them a couple of days rest. They will face either Montgomery or Jackson for the league title.
