I don't think you can blame brewer fans completely. I'd bet a large majority of the cubs fans at the game today have had tickets since march to this game. As said before, their fan base is larger so more of their fans are likely to get tickets claimed before brewers fans.

You can't underestimate how many Wisconsinites are Cub fans, too. There are a lot. Miller Park tickets are easier to score than Wrigley tickets as well.

Like I said, it is a little embarrassing. There are many reasons it’s betteento come here vs. Wrigley (actually a lot). However, Brewer fans hardcore sell/avoid these games. For legitimate reasons, but it looks a tad pathetic.

Then buy a ticket and go to the game.

I don't live anywhere near Milwaukee but when I'm there and they are playing, I do buy tickets. I just watched two games in DC and "MVP" chants for Yelich and "Let's Go Brewers" chants during those games were no less embarrassing for Nats fans. I spend money every year so I can watch every game as someone who lives out of the viewing area. I do my part.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Yep. This state is loaded with Cubs fans. Everyone talks about all these fans coming from Chicago, but I'd bet at least half of the Cub fans in attendanc live in WI.

I completely agree with this which is why I typically never express an opinion on this topic while sitting on my couch. The one thing I will say is the Brewers-Cubs games I have gone to over the past couple of years haven’t exactly been a great fan experience. At one of the games last year, with the exception of one other couple nearby, my wife and I were the only Brewers fans within three rows in either direction. Sitting at Miller Park in the middle of arrogant Cubs fans isn’t exactly a great ballpark experience. We’ve been to a handful of Brewers-Cubs games at Wrigley, and for whatever reason those experiences have actually been better.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

This argument again over being outnumbered, made by people who are not at the game. put your money where your mouth is and go.

As said, it's basic geography. And it's not like all the tickets are owned by season ticket holders who are willingly selling them to the Cubs. The tickets are available and the Cubs fans buy them. They have 6-8X the population for their city and a huge chunk of Wisconsinites were brought up Cubs fans due to MKE not having a team again until 1970 or whatever it was. 3rd biggest market vs smallest market. It is what it is, move on.

We're the smallest market and are usually among top ten in attendance, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. When we were good and they were crap we had better attendance, and I went to games at Wrigley in those days where it was majority MKE fans. Now that's embarrassing.

That is what happens when the Milwaukee Braves bolt, leaving the clostest team for baseball fans to follow in Chicago. There is a generation of people whose Fathers and Grandfathers were Braves fans, they left, so they started to follow the cubs. When your Dad is a fan of a team, you become the same. In the end, it's Milwaukee's fault that we have so many Cubs fans in Wisconsin.
