Counsell just can't win man.

True but leaving a hard thrower like Hader in there for three innings is risky. I was really surprised to see him come back out for the 8th.

Starter his whole minor league career, pitched 3 innings multiple times this year, only 17 pitches. Only thing that was risky is the Cubs lineup. He was still the right choice.

agreed.

Are people seriously saying we should have bunted with one of the best hitters in baseball? He struck out. It happens.

Can't happen there. Swung at three balls.

It did happen though. Then it happened again. A bunt wouldn't even have helped since Aguilar struck out

If that curveball lands, you tip the cap. Gutsy pitch call right there.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yea if Yelich just takes that first high pitch instead of swinging it changes the whole AB.

Gameday had all three pitches to yelich in the done. Was it wrong.

Your gameday had one too many. My gameday has them all well out of the zone.
