Roark's last outing vs. Brewers: 8IP 3H 11K. From that game on, Roark's numbers have looked really good. Hope the bats are alive for this series.

Yeah this is a big game because then you’re facing Strasburg and Sherzer. Washington might be just .500 but they still have some really good players even after trading away a couple guys. Going to be a tough series.

We're going to have to hit good pitching to some degree in October, might as well start in September. The bats have been pretty good lately. Scratch out a few runs and hope the pitching holds up. Nationals lineup is weakened, but still very very good.

Saw something that the team decided to give Guerra another start Sunday against Scherzer as it stands now. Good thing I have a fantasy draft during the game.

Might as well start your worst pitcher against one of the best in baseball. You're probably going to lose anyway, what difference does it matter if you lose 3-1 or 13-1?

That's what I thought too. The last game of the series would be his day to pitch though, so I'm assuming they messed that up.

Well if Chacin and Anderson can go somewhat deep then the BP can easily handle an early exit by Junior. I like our chances against Max with a rested BP.

It's hard to believe Washington is only .500. The lineup is good, and you got some really good arms at the top of the rotation.
