Athletes you've rooted for but would have hated on opposing teams

Saw a Nyjer Morgan highlight and thought of how much I would have hated him had he played for Cubs or Cardinals...or anyone really.

Nyjer Morgan

Sam Cassell

Frank Kaminsky

Ben Brust

I'm sure there are others that I'm not thinking of right now.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I never quite understood the hype for Rodman. An amazing rebounder for sure, but I used to watch him a lot on the Bulls just to see why he always got so many rebounds. And every time he'd run down the offensive end, he'd just immediately set up for a rebound and box out the offensive guy. Well sure you can get in a good position when you have zero ambition to participate on offense. It's the same as John Henson being a good shot-blocker--well sure you can get a lot of blocked shots when you let every opponent easily drive right by you to the rim.

Rodman on the Bulls was closer to the end of his career where he was basically a liability on offense other than grabbing rebounds. Rodman on the Pistons was another story though he still wasn't all that great on offense then either.
