Cardinals continue to be on an unbelievable tear. At least the team they are beating up on tonight is the Rockies, so that's helpful.

Like I have said before. I’d rather the Cards just beat the crud out of these other contenders if that’s what it takes. I’d rather that than a giant 4 team dog pile in the WC standings.

I want the Cards in round 1. I want the Cubs in round 2. Then whoever and then I’ll take knocking off the Astros to win the whole damn thing.

Well we are not screwing around tonight. 2 from Hader, 2 from Jeffress? Or maybe 2 Hader, 1 Soria, 1 Jeffress.

I’d bet on the later of your two guesses.

Agreed, with Hader looking shaky maybe you don't send him back out though. Not just the double, he's seen a lot of hard contact that inning. He also seemed to throw a lot of pitches, maybe 20...

Despite going from 18 over to struggling in every game. Part of the reason my playoff fever has diminished is cause we may have to play Saint Louis and/or Chicago first two rounds.

Nothing about that is exciting.

I find it extremely exciting. I hope we get that opportunity.

Nothing exciting about it at all. They were almost 10 games behind Milwaukee at one point. Fired the manager, traded Pham. Essentially gave up on the season. Brewers were ahead of them for 95% of the season and are now hoping to play them on the road in the wild card. Playing them in a one game playoff would destroy all nerves ten times more than playing a different NL team. Pressure would be 100% on the Brewers (see Jeffress comments after last series)

I hate the uniforms, but the yellow part of the helmet is a matte finish...I wish they would have a matte finish helmet in their rotation. The dark blue would probably look nice and sleek in a matte finish...maybe have all the special occasion helmets matte finish.

Sure, it would suck if we lose, but it would also be our 3rd playoff appearance in 35 years. If you can't get excited about that, what is there to get excited about as a Brewer fan?

This was my point. And who cares how you got there. I’d love nothing more than a chance to break the hearts of our division rivals. Can’t be afraid to lose.

This team has a nasty habit of coming out of the gates quickly and mailing it in after that.

They’ve had 6 hits in the past 5 innings. I wouldn’t say they’re “mailing” it in by any means.

Kratz above .260 now

A bunch of luck finding empty space though, nothing had hit. Not that I really care how a backup catcher gets it done though.

Tonight maybe but I’ve been to a ton of games the past month and he’s striking it well right now. Using the whole field.
