Leave Guerra in to get schellacked for 7 runs (yes, I know, soft grounders, but whatever, he still put a ton of guys on), then get cute on matchups late in the game?

Cheering for this team sucks sometimes. Last year was great because it was so unexpected. This year has just been a roller coaster.

It is a tradition of failure. How can other posters be mad at those who are negative? I'm 33 and this has literally been happening our whole lives. Our best season was when a crappy cardinals team beat us in the NLCS.

For the record Jennings has pretty good splits. Actually pitches well overall against lefties. But man does he blow it in big spots a lot. The worst is when Counsell goes to him for a lefty, he fails, and then a bunch of righties mash him. Hate it.

The point is why even bother being a fan and come post on a fan site if you are going to spout whining and negativity?

Why mess with Williams throwing well? If he struggles its immediately, if not he's as solid as anyone we have.

because he has like a .960 OPS against LH batters...Jennings has a .530 OPS against LH batters...it was the right move it just didnt work out

Sometimes the right decision ends badly.

Why even bother being a fan when everything is rainbows and unicorns with a complete failure to see the reality of a situation? You can't tell me this is making you feel warm and fuzzy right now.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

This year exceeded my expectations as much as last year. I never expected them to win the division and I'm not going to get worked up over the coinflip play-in game. This year has been fun.

Because where else can you commiserate with others who care about the team as much as you do?

And sometimes Corey Knebel just stinks....
