I can't be the only one who saw the catcher blatantly signaling for the pitch to be way off the plate with a 3 ball count and Arcia still swung at it.

 

It was basically an intended walk where they were totally fine with just setting up the double play but wanted to see if Orlando would give them a free out instead. And he gladly obliged.

See this why some of us were talking about Braun's bad luck all year. If you keep hitting it hard eventually you are going to get hits.

 

I’ll admit, I was starting to wonder if we were off base with it but he sure has looked great lately. So fun to see him doing this. Would be awesome to see him have some huge moments down the stretch.

If they can find a way to win this nightmare man would that be big at the end of the year.

 

-Phillies blew their lead

-Rockies on brink of losing

-Cubs lost

-Cards down early

 

Get your hopes up at your peril...

 

Oh trust me I know. I was at that insane game where they tied it on passes balls and wild pitches...then blew it quickly.
