Can we play different players today? or should we just give the Braves fans more to enjoy? I hate playing the Braves, the carpetbaggers who abandoned Milwaukee and left us with a minor league team for 48 years... Losing to them is especially insulting...

The ellipses are annoying but you are in my top 5 posters.

I know one thing, this season has caused me a lot more stress than most in the past. When we have a chance at a playoff spot, the stress is a lot greater than when I know we don't.

You won't have to worry about stress for too much longer.

You think they will be eliminated from playoff contention soon?

Welcome to PinaMadness. Go read through his/her post history ... he/she hasn't posted anything positive about the team in about 600 posts.

I thought Miley might match up well against some of those Braves left-handed bats. But Freeman is at .333/.391/.582/.972 and Markakis is at .323/.387/.510/.897 against lefties this year. As a team they have the 3rd best OPS against lefties in the majors. Hopefully Teheran's woes continue. He has not been good lately.

The Brewers really need to get some early runs and keep adding on. With the bullpen woes scoring a couple of runs and trying to hold on to a small lead over several innings isn’t likely to work any more.

Might have to use Hader for two innings tonight unless they fall way behind. Unless they made some player moves I haven’t heard about yet the middle relief is in dire straits.

ETA: I see that Wilkerson is up to replace Hauser. I’m surprised they didn’t option Peralta; maybe they will use him in long relief in Chicago if a game gets out of hand there.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Hader could literally pitch in every game for the rest of the season and still not come close to 90 games. It's pretty ridiculous his lack of usage.

At least the Cubs are getting pounded today. Lester has been less than stellar his past few starts. He gave up 8 today, now Chatwood is in for mop up duty.

They are toying with us. We get a little bit of hope back that we still have a decent chance and then they run off a few wins while the Brewers go 500... I've seen this too many times before to fall for it this time.

I hate that they actually understand the rebuilding process. Looking through how fast they built their minor league system and trades they made makes me sick.

This is a ridiculous statement. How have the Brewers not succeeded in a rebuild? They are 66-43 and in serious playoff contention. They had the #1 farm system with 8 top 100 prospects in 2016 according to MLB.com and they traded for Christian Yelich and 4 years of control. You are just complaining to complain.

What was our record in 2016 vs the Braves now?

First of all, if you are trying to compare seasons, which is a waste of time, the 2018 Braves would compare to the 2017 Brewers. You are just overreacting to a couple bad losses.

They cleverly scheduled both games next week against the Brewers as day games and have Quintana lined up to face the only team that can’t touch him.
