Chris' call was glorious. Talk about being prepared for a broadcast moment that you otherwise could never be prepared for. Chris nailed it. The folks at MLB.com's "Cut4" picked up on the event, somehow didn't manage to credit Chris, which is a shame. Well, we will here. Fantastic.

AUDIO via the Rattler Radio Soundcloud: "In the postgame podcast, Chris Mehring & Kyle Lobner discuss the most amazing rally of the season with the most amazing walkoff you will ever hear about on a podcast. Hear from Gabriel García and Matt Erickson in the clubhouse comments, too.

Box Score / Game Log

The final Burlington pitcher faced one batter, struck out the only batter he faced, and was charged with a blown save. That's brutal!

Kenny Corey (three hits) and Eddie Silva (two) with big games.

Not spectacular lines from the Rattler pitchers.

Box Score / Game Log

ERA's damaged; Tyler Saladino exited, but not for Milwaukee -- ejected.

Final: Nashville 14, Colorado Springs 6, completion of suspended game

Box Score / Game Log

Don't pay attention to the season-to-date batting averages and ERA's, they reflect the May 3rd date.

Sky Sox the home team (on the road) for this one.

RHP's Tim Dillard and Michael Brady won't be thrilled that their numbers from this game are now official.

Box Score / Game Log

Four more of these -- that's seven in seven games for Brice Turang since his promotion.

E: Castillo (2, throw); Fry (3, throw); Tungate (1, pickoff); Turang (7, fielding).

After the All-Star break, pitchers need work, thus the short outings. RHP Franklin Hernandez has only thrown three times since July 14th.

Je'Von Ward on base three times, and 2B Luis Avila still hitting over .400 after 13 games with the H-Crew (yet to walk, two walks in 106 AB's overall in 2018).

Grand Junction Bottom of the 7th

Pitching Change: Joey Matulovich replaces Tyler Tungate.

Hunter Stovall strikes out swinging.

Coco Montes strikes out swinging.

Grant Lavigne called out on strikes.

Batting .294, .369, .372 respectively. Rock on, Joey...

Here was RHP Jon Perrin's AA debut in the Royals' organization (box score).

Made the start, couldn't understand why he wasn't for the Brewers affiliates in 2018.

***

Luis Ortiz' 2nd AAA start for the Orioles was Friday night and was very solid (box score).

***

Speaking of 2nd starts for their new clubs, RHP Jorge Lopez shined in his for the Royals' AAA club Tuesday (box score).

***

LHP Kodi Medeiros last pitched on Sunday. His 2nd AA start for the White Sox was very uneven (box score).

The DSL co-op game was suspended and will be made up on Saturday.

Final: DSL Cubs2 6, DSL Brewers 1

DSL Brewers Box Score

Five errors and only three hits for the Brewers in an anti-climactic followup to yesterday's no-hit proceedings. Larry Ernesto hit a double for the club's only extra base knock. Victor Vargas drew 2 of the team's 7 walks.

Starter Jose Romero pitched well, allowing 2 runs in 4.2 innings of work, and struck out 7 against 1 walk.

Final: AZL Rangers 10, AZL Brewers 2

AZL Brewers Box Score

Francis Florentino had 2 hits and 2 RBI but starter Brayan Salaya and relievers Jose Parra/Mitchell McIntyre put the offense in a big hole that they couldn't dig out of. Johan Dominguez ran his scoreless streak to 14.1 innings. Rehabbing catcher Moises Perez was listed as the 9th inning pitcher, but that might be an error in the box score. I'll check on it.

Matulovich's outing was eye-opening. Had good armside run on his 2-seamer, spotted 4-seamer up in the zone well, threw what looked like a cutter that was straight nasty, and added a big curveball as well. That's right, up, left, and down with command folks.
