Since the tough Cardinals and Cubs series the first week of April the Brewers have gone 32-16 in games at Miller Park. Success at home was obviously a hallmark of the 2011 team as well.

I really don’t get batting Schoop fourth. It seems like that just puts more pressure on a guy who’s already pressing.

That, or it boosts his confidence to know that CC still believes in him.

I really hope tonight is the night for him.

I'm telling you, CC loves Perez and can't stop himself from playing him.

Remember when the Moose and Schoop trades went down, and several posters were commenting that we don't have to see Perez starting any longer. HA!

Hasn't effected his playing time at all.

I. JUST. DON'T. GET. IT.

Oh, and Schoop hitting clean-up is just asinine.

Now that I said that, he'll go 3 for 4, HR and 3 RBIs.

1. Jonathan Schoop

100% assinine. Schoop should be in the 8 hole until he shows some sign of life.

2. Hernan Perez

Perez I honestly would have DFA'd long ago...low average...low obp...low power... what am I missing?

Of course I admit I personally hate low obp players who cant buy a walk...

My hatred for Craig Counsel is getting close to the way I couldn't stand Nedly Yost..

How does a middle infielder hit clean up?

I don't think position matters when deciding who hits clean-up. I'm sure there are a few middle infielders around MLB that deserve it, but Schoop does not, and hitting him there is just strange.

Sorry managers don't make lineups based off the last 3 games.

I was one of the at least no more Perez, Sogard, etc type when the trade went down. Yea just didn't expect them to play him over Arcia. Guess I was wrong but Perez is still a better hitter than Arcia and not awful on D. Hey at least we can say no more Sogard, Orfs, haha

That 1-2 pitch was an easy strike. Not even close. Ridiculous.

Edit: Freddy strikes him out anyway. Still, I can't believe the ump missed such an easy strike.

I can.

Umpires are too influenced by the catcher. If Pina was set up there and didn't have to move to catch the ball it would likely have been a strike.

I don't know how much longer they can hang with Peralta, might need to swap him out in Colorado Springs with Woodruff soon.

He's got command issues to work on. Its just too taxing on your bullpen to hand the ball to a 3-4 inning starter every 5 days.

Yep. Another benefit of the automated zone, it does not care how much the catcher moves, it knows what a strike is.
