Just same old offense. Yelich, Cain, strikeouts.

 

Could be worse. Imagine if Yelich and Cain were never acquired, and those spots were being filled by Phillips and Broxton.

Is Coles just like, unfireable or something? I mean, this is the most we can possibly load up the lineup without throwing the catching gear on Braun and still...nothing. What does he honestly have to do?

You mean the ones they won? Again winning helps but this team was completely different as far as team chemistry was concerned. To me this team doesn’t have the same feel as it did earlier in the year

 

Maybe ... losing good clubhouse "glue" guys like Suter, Sogard and Phillips could play a part. Arcia seems to be a fun guy, and his going down may have played a part.

 

I think the best cure, though, would be for the offense to finally get going for a stretch longer than a game or two.

I don't know if it was last night or the night before, but Rock was singing his praises, calling him "such a great coach!" I think I actually started arguing with my TV.
