I don’t know if it is affecting his play, but I did see reports that he did not want to be traded. He was also on the verge of thinking he had made it past the deadline when he got the news.

I expect a leader of the team that is supposed to be setting the example for younger players to not put Arcia in that position. Even if that were not the case and Arcia should have done something differently, that was still a lazy throw by Cain.
