Everyone welcome the DH to the NL (only to one team).

It's pretty clear that reverse engineering this, Stearns likes to have 2 good hitters off the bench at all times given all of the bullpenning the Brewers do.

Shaw/Mous/Schoop platooning at 2B, Shaw/Mous at 3B. In any game you'll have at least 2 very bats (like some of them All Stars) off the bench.

Roster logjam 2.0, lol.

Exactly and I love it!

Can he play shortstop??

He's played a couple games in his career at short. He's basically been locked in at 2nd his entire career.

But played SS a bunch in the minors.

Someone here looked him up and said he played SS coming up? So 2B vs lefties and a few games at SS each week. Plus when Arcia comes in for D substituting he can go over to 2B. IDK, this will be interesting

Is this a move for future seasons when Shaw goes back to 3B maybe???

How many years left on his contract?

He has one more year of arbitration and then free agent in 2020. Makes $8.5M this year.
