Khris Davis ....the most consistent hitter in history

I noticed that about about Davis awhile ago because i found it so bizarre and almost impossible to happen.

I totally understood why he was traded when he was, but his bat sure would look nice in our feeble lineup.

Are you going to teach him to play the middle infield? Because he's not an improvement over Cain, Yelich, Thames or Aguilar.

Horrible defense, hits in the .240s, has power.

I think we have too many of those guys as it is.

Fun fact!

If Khris Davis finishes the year 2 for 13 he will end up with a .247 BA for the fourth consecutive year. Wonder how often someone has had the same BA in four consecutive years?

This is VERY much in play today. A's should sit him :)

"Khris Davis watch: still at .247 with one game to go. He needs an 0-for-1, 0-for-2, 1-for-4, or 1-for-5 to finish at .247 for the 4th consecutive season. He's had one of those lines in 29.5% of his non-pinch-hit games since the .247 streak started in 2015."

I'm curious what Davis wants(besides obviously going 5-5 with 5 homers). Is he secretly hoping to hit 247 again just because of the novelty of it, or is he just sick of ending at that number. Or maybe he doesn't care and just wants the 5 homers.

Our very own Tristan Archer had a 3.42 ERA for 3 years straight. Go Brewers.
