2018-07-20: Dodgers (Hill) at Brewers (Miley) 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 6-4 -- Now 7 consecutive losses]

Eye Black
Unpopular opinion alert...Miley is pitching pretty well, even though his WHIP tonight must be ridiculous

4 hits, 2 walks in 6 innings for 1 WHIP.

Yeah I was just going to post "my bad." I just felt like there were runners on every inning but I forgot about some of those 1-2-3 innings he had sprinkled in there.

Sedar handled it perfectly. Why send Pina with no outs? Miley was a good send because there were 2 out and 50/50 chance of scoring. No problem with either decision.

Then we agree to disagree, however, not sending Pina was the right move...

Not sending Pina was fine. That out was on Broxton. Sending a pitcher to try and score from 1st, with Aguilar on deck and the opposing pitcher on the ropes, is dead wrong in my opinion. Especially when your team just had a BAD out on the base paths already.

Ugh, another early hook on a starter pitching very well with a low pitch count. I get that the pen is well rested after the break, but Anderson and Suter don't exactly have a plethora of long starts on their records.

CC can't win......if he leaves him,in and gives up the lead people *****.....pulls him 3rd time through the order coming back from an injury with a fully rested pen and people *****.

Every decision is wrong

Haha yup he was blocking before he got the ball. Such a dumb rule, but I bet we get burned here.

EDIT: Thanks New York. I’m convinced they turn a blind eye on that rule unless it actually effects the slide/play.

and the flipside to what you are saying is that CC can't be questioned, and is always right.

it's a viscious circle.

Well, Williams is getting slapped around pretty good here, so ...

biggest problem is this crap offense has left no room for error.
