2018-07-20: Dodgers (Hill) at Brewers (Miley) 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 6-4 -- Now 7 consecutive losses]

Eye Black

Yeah, but how many holes can we realistically fill?

Dozier at 2B would be pretty huge. Hopefully we can get some internal improvement with Arcia and Santana figuring it out in AAA. Healthy Braun would be nice for a change.

You realize Dozier is hitting .230 this year and has the same WAR as Villar right? If he’s going to be huge he needs to figure it out at the plate.

Its pretty well known he is a second half player. Look at his July...

Frustrating.

Of course I think pina would have scored that time, but it wasn't deep so who knows.

I actually do not think Pina would have scored, he is slow, like crawling slow. I think he was dead meat had he gone.

Yea. You are pribably right. I thought maybe the CFer wouldn't throw home and keep the force or take the out at 3rd.

Can we be upset he sent Wade Miley? Haha.

I actually think Pina was out by a mile had he been sent and it took two perfect throws AND Miley tiptoeing around 3rd to get Miley by a a foot or two. Don't think Sedar is really to blame for either of those.

Yelich is the only guy seeing the ball well vs. Hill. 3 rockets against a LHP.

I'm good with that send by Sedar. Miley took about a year rounding 3rd

That is because he is a fat slow pitcher.

I sometimes don't think Sedar knows who is running, just sees a body and puts up the windmill.

We know one thing for certain though, Sedar's job is safe, no matter what he does, he is our 3rd base coach.

I don't......would have been out easily

Yea. In real time he was a few steps around 3rd and the CFer didnt have the ball yet, so I thought he had a chance. But again you are probably correct.

Everyone keeps pointing to Brian Doziers season stats and I feel like just a little research would do some good. He has historically hit really well the second half of the year. The last month he has like a .900 OPS...last 14 days 1.100 OPS.

He would be an upgrade easily...and like a large one.

It was a ground ball for goodness sake. The CF wasn't near the ball when Pina who was already slowing down was hitting 3rd. I could have scored on that. Pina going full bore from the get go scores standing.

Agreed. ARam was much the same way throughout his career.

Getting the third out at home plate with the pitcher running and with Jesus coming to bat, and what should have been a man on 2nd and 3rd was just not the right move Ed.

Six innings at 83 pitches, he come out for the 7th?

Either way, nice start!

Yes, if he gets in trouble, even one guy gets on base, you pull him. CC won't see it that way though.

He'll be done.
