Starting with two of your back end rotation guys against a 1st Place team, coming off the All Srar break, riding a 6 game losing streak.... Sorta feels like a white flag. Depressing. I hope I am wrong.

Yeah, they are giving up. No use even showing up anymore.

Sheesh! I get that it hasn't been a great week for Brewer baseball, but the Debbie Downers are starting to get a little overpowering around here.

Awe, I am sorry for having an opinion that doesn’t match yours... I almost feel bad that you didn’t like it.

The topic asked for what to expect out of the break. I gave an honest thought and hoped it wasn’t the case.

Carry on...

And I gave an honest thought on your opinion. Which, last time I checked, is also allowed.

As you said, carry on with your parade ... sad trombones and all :laughing

Well we start off with Wade Miley, then Anderson vs. Kershaw, and then Suter.

So basically we should expect it to look like Josh Hader’s All Star Game experience.

Exactly what I am worried about. Hopefully the offense starts to carry its weight a bit more.

Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain and our current middle infield and most of our bullpen and half of our rotation and to a smaller extent THE ENTIRE REST OF THE ROSTER except for Braun have nothing to do with this team's past failures to close out a September. Let's give them a chance, yeah?

Absolutely! You'll get no argument from me about that.

What I expect: below .500 rest of the way. Pitching staff struggling mightily, including bullpen. I think Anderson may be lone bright spot, stabilizing.

Yelich continues to be solid. Cain slight regression. Aguilar regression to .250 play or so. Shaw continues to be .240 with just okay power, offense continues to be terrible.

Pretty pessimistic overall. Don't see many possible bright spots.

My biggest beef with this team in their approach at the plate. They can't manufacture runs to save their souls and this has been a problem for a couple of years now. If we don't homer we usually can't score. We strike out at an alarming - rate looking at strikes and swinging at balls. :(
