Side note, good bounceback from Barnes last night after his last two games. Got 1 1/3 done fine, they asked extra from him going into the 30s in pitches. he would've gotten out of it without the Shaw error for 2 1/3 performance at a time it was really needed.

Orf, Lopez and Peralta out.

Miley, Asher and Hauser in.

When was the last time Woodruff pitched? Seems like he would have been ideal to come up.

Nobody wanted to mention Eric Sogard was officially released today also?

Umm ... good? Seems like a nice guy. Hopefully he catches on with the Orioles after they trade Manny.

Maybe saving Woodruff as the extra man for the double header?

Sounds like Suter is likely going to be ready to start in the DH from tweets today.

Saladino not showing that he is that great defensively so far imo.

If you look at defensive metrics over the last few years, Saladino has shown to be an above average defender - but nothing great. We should not fool ourselves that he is a great defender. He's certainly better than anyone else on the roster right now - but Arcia is far, far superior with the glove.

Look like a team that just got into Pittsburgh at 5 a.m. That's why it was such a gut punch to lose last night, because you were more or less guaranteed to have factors from last game trickle into this one.
