Jesus can sure hit. I can't believe the Indians gave up on him. Makes us giving up on Gennett look a tad more palatable.

or, had we not given up on Gennett, and had Jesus doing his thing as well, we'd be in pretty good shape, only needing a SS and a hitting catcher...

It's all in how you look at it I guess.

True...but I imagine it came down to scooter or jesus...

I've never got a foul ball at any game, at any level, not even BP. It's to the point of causing me a complex, all my family and friends are aware of it.

I need to go to Miami this year. Every fan should leave with 3 or 4 at least...

I've come close a couple times, but never caught one (I've also only gone to maybe one game a year for the last decade and a half since I live in Atlanta now).

At a Brewers game during the last season at Turner Field with my family. Big rain storm came through, delaying the game mid-way. We were in good lower level seats and stuck it out for a while. During the delay, we chatted with a Braves employee. He got called away, but came back in a little while with a baseball for my kids. He said a Brewers fan got it from a Brewers player during warm-ups and wanted to find a kid to give it to. The employee told him he had found just the right kids and that is the closest I've come to kind of sort of getting a game ball.

I was in the upper deck at a game years ago when I just missed one. I was in the front row and had to lean over to try to catch it. Obviously I'm not going to try too hard and risk my life, so I couldn't quite get it. A few minutes later, a lady came back from the rest room and her husband told her that we almost had one. She said, "Oh, it was you guys? Don Sutton said on the radio that someone booted one."

DAMN YOU DON SUTTON!!!!

Lol, nice!

I've had them all around me. Went to a White Sox and Indians years ago and a guy 10 feet to the left of me got 4 in one game right behind the plate second deck.

I've been to Cubs BP because Wriggley opens way early. People all around me catching em.
