2018-07-11: Brewers (Peralta) at Marlins (Straily) 6:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 5-4 in 12 innings]

Yeah the Brewers list but Hader got another day off after pitching like once in the last week, which is clearly more important than winning

35 pitches on Monday. Off limits till today. I mean, they have done this all year regarding Hader's usage. You may not like it. I don't like it. But it is what it is, and they are sticking to it.

What are the facts here. He is an all star on the best team in the NL. He is widely considered one of the more dominant relievers in the game at the moment. That is pretty compelling evidence that they are using him correctly. I'd bet a large sum of money they also have a plethora of statistical data to back up that usage. Anyone can disagree but I'm going with CC and staff on this one over a bunch of internet armchair QB's (myself included).

Yep, you got it. I too was frustrated seeing Lopez have an at-bat in the 12th last night, but if someone needs to be blamed, blame it on the string of short starts from our rotation guys, either due to ineffectiveness, inefficiency or odd quick hooks from Counsell. This team could really use a starter that can be expected to go 7 innings on a regular basis. Anderson and Davies were supposed to be those guys.

Holy crap guys. Get a grip.

"i agree these type of game when the brewers don't win will come back to bite them like last year"

"This team is an Aguillar 0-10 slump from being in free fall. This is ridiculous."

The Brewers scored 35 total runs in their last 7 games. That is 5 per game. That is really good. The offense is fine. Frustrating... but we have an unhealthy Shaw, an unhealthy Braun, and a make shift middle infield. We are going to have droughts. Regarding the "come back to bite them" silliness... the Brewers have been near AMAZING in late inning games this year. The clutch gene has been all over us. We aren't going to win every one and we aren't going to look pretty in every one.

Chill. Everyone go to sleep.

How bad is Shaw's ankle? Perhaps after this disappointment Stearns will seriously consider getting another bat before the trade deadline...

By that logic no front office or manager should ever be criticized by fans/ armchair QBs. Being professionals does not = never wrong

That would be a strawman, no one said that.
