Yelich was out.

 

Looked safe to me.

 

I don't have the luxury of DVR anymore but on the one replay they showed definitely looked like the ball hit the glove before the foot hit the bag. At least when I looked.

Kratz for the most part hits like a pitcher. Might as well leave the arm in.

With a runner in scoring position it seems worthwhile to at least taking a chance at scoring the go ahead run. Must really not have any other pitching options?

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Insanity. Chance to win the game and you punt. Why not just say we give we want to get out of town. Again I repeat what I have said before you would never know this team missed the playoffs by one game. They do not act like every game matters.

Hader and Burnes presumably can't go (and we definitely don't want to injure them), so I think all you have left is Jeffress who CC probably wants to reserve for a save situation and anyways could only go 2.0 IP or so. Lopez is probably going to get ridden to death here until we get a lead.

 

Maybe a different decision if Kratz himself wasn't such a bad hitter.
