2018-07-10: Brewers (Chacín) at Marlins (Lopez) 6:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 8-4 -- Corbin Burnes makes MLB debut with a two inning save]

Adding guys with the stuff of Burnes and Peralta even Woodruff and maybe Brown is what gives us hope that we will be good for a while. Hate to see any of them go. Give them Davies and Chase.

I might seriously cry if they get rid of Brown or Burnes. They are our future, and that future is almost here!

I'm not sure how anyone can say that Woodruff is equal to, or better than Burnes.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, Burnes is the 2nd best pitcher in our system, right behind Peralta.

If I had to get rid of one in a trade, it's Woodruff, all day long.

Now watching Burnes, I think he’s #1. He is a control guy that seems to sit at 95mph with ease. I’m extremely excited to see where he and Peralta may lead us.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Can we just not trade either burnes or peralta? I would like to argue for the next 10+ years about which one is our true ace.

Are people seriously now advocating for bringing back Arcia? How soon they forget that he is an automatic out.

No kidding. When he hits 8th it is like sending 2 pitchers up to the plate back to back. :tongue

That pitch Yelich hit was really high and outside.

Also, my favorite live call ever might be Jhonny Estrada rounding 3rd trying to score on a double from 1st and the live call being "Estrada rounding 3rd with a piano on his back!"

Ah Yes Jim Powell...I feel like that was a Marlin's game where he also used the gem "Both of the Marlins fans here did not like that call"

I don't know why nobody goes to these games. It is almost as bad in Tampa. The only time that place gets any fans is when they play the Yankees and Boston.
