Slower runner......Kratz or Johnny Estrada?

I still got Estrada.......he was glacial

Better question.

Hit and run with Kratz at 1st and Billy Hamilton at the plate. Hamilton slaps a ball down the line. Where on the bases does Hamilton catch Kratz?

That pitch Yelich hit was really high and outside.

Also, my favorite live call ever might be Jhonny Estrada rounding 3rd trying to score on a double from 1st and the live call being "Estrada rounding 3rd with a piano on his back!"

Ah Yes Jim Powell...I feel like that was a Marlin's game where he also used the gem "Both of the Marlins fans here did not like that call"

How frustrating it would be to be a Marlins fan and watch Yelich and think we gave this guy away for who??

They got three high-end prospects in the deal. They did just fine.

That may be but the guy is 26 years old and am all star. I would not find comfort in that.

Here’s a thought, let’s keep Burnes. Very, very foolish giving away that arm.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Now Burnes is part of the core, can't trade him now.

In all seriousness if Burnes becomes a bullpen piece he's an addition, not someone you move. If we trade him to get Machado you probably end up trading more prospects away to fill a bullpen spot that Burnes can just fill.

Could see him stepping in this year into a similar role as Hader. That provides quite a bit of value too right now. Come crunch time of season or playoffs and there's trouble early for our generally mid level type starters and boom you can bring either of them in for 2-3 innings. OF course it's only one game but with how he's used to pitching multiple innings you can see how it could work like Hader. More I think about I just don't think you can give MLB ready pitching controlled for 7 years for a rental

I'm not sure how anyone can say that Woodruff is equal to, or better than Burnes.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, Burnes is the 2nd best pitcher in our system, right behind Peralta.

If I had to get rid of one in a trade, it's Woodruff, all day long.
