He looked like a batter trying to do the “right” thing and hit the ball the other way

 

By swinging at two balls in three pitches.

This inning is exhibit A on why a Manny deal has to be made. This lineup is not deep enough at all to compete with the big boys. If Jesus didn't do it you knew it wasn't going to happen. Cain and Yelich can't drive in themselves.

The funniest part of the whole Hader argument is I remember a post from the Braves series calling for Hader to be used because the Marlins games would be blowouts and we wouldn’t need him anyways. BASEBALL!!!!!!

You do realize that those pitches appear to be strikes at first right? He was trying to go the other way with the pitch
