Such a bummer that three potential sell pieces are now on the DL so close to the deadline (Thames, Guerra and Villar). I was really hoping the Brewers could sell off some pieces and add to their lower levels of the system. This would help ease the burden with making another major off season trade.

Leading the Wild Card race and only 2 games out of first is no reason to sell. Zero.

 

If they Brewers tank and miss the playoffs, you can trade those guys in the offseason. They'll have pretty much the same value as they do now.

Wasn’t Stearns with Houston when we got Hader, Santana, Phillips and Houser from them? Hmmm
