That was like an optical illusion. Looked clearly safe from the angles where you couldn't see Swanson's hand, but then did look out/too close to call from the other angle.

I think as fans we sometimes gloss over nuances that come with being human. It could be as simple as Hader telling CC he needs an extra day off.

If you're any type of competitor you always want in the game. CC needs to rethink his usage of him. They have enough depth in the bullpen that he doesn't need to always pitch more than one inning per game. The more available he is, the better off the team is.

PinaMadness I'm not picking on you, just letting folks know that last time Hader pitched more than 1 inning before his 3 inning stint was June 11 when he pitched 1.2 innings. He had 6 straight appearances of 1 or fewer innings. I had thought CC had decided to limit his multi inning appearances for a while there. You have to go back to May 25 for his last 2 inning appearance.

Safe but can't overturn it IMO.

For BRaun, yea his eye test has been bad the last two weeks or so. The previous stretch of him hitting hard but still getting out isn't really true right now. Lots of dribblers to 3rd and the P, and some first P popouts. This isn't really true tonight with at least two well hit balls that I remember, but generally over the last couple weeks

And with how taxed the BP has been lately he probably viewed it as an exception and a time to try and give everyone else a day off. Certainly understandable and logical

Nice, nice win tonight. Big one. That's the type of win good teams. get. Contending teams.

This team is for real this year.

Yeah. I agree 100 percent. This is a loss in the past. Can't forget how good Peralta was again. Thinking of trading this guy for pitching for crying out loud is nuts. Baseball experts drive me nuts. This kid is what we need.

Well, it does seem that way. Probably because we don't see him often enough to think otherwise. Having huge leads or huge deficits haven't helped either. Sometimes you just have to use him in spots you wouldn't normally use him in just to keep him sharp.

Underrated on that caught stealing was the tag by Saladino. He might have been safe but that was as close as it gets, I think many of us assumed he was safe because when he caught it high it appeared there was no way he’d get the tag down.

Brewers are now 53-35 and CC needs to rethink his use of Josh Hader lmao

You don't think the manager should be able to predict every single night which reliever might have a bad night? Cmon, that's manager 101 stuff.

Sophia asking him about that now. Just once I'd like to hear someone answer "Yeah, the umpire got it wrong. We got lucky on that call."
