Good 3-0 hack by Shaw there, yikes.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

There's our $20M man with a rookie-like AB.

And Shaw...swinging 3-0 you better do better than that weak sauce. My God.

These 2 deserve to bat 8th and 9th for a game tomorrow after their embarrassing last 2 ABs.

3-4-5 pitiful. Gotta be the shadows. I hope.

So what happens if during this interview Guerra gives up some base runners and Johnson wants to have a mound visit? Does he postpone it or does he say screw you guys, I'm going to the mound.

My three year old thinks "we should get rid of these bad hitters and get good ones". I agree. Or shock therapy for swinging at garbage.

I'm not going to criticize Shaw for swinging at the pitch. It's not like he swung at a borderline strike on 3-0 and made weak contact. It was a pitch you want a slugger to rip at. Sometimes you're just not going to make the kind of contact you're hoping to make, even on a meatball pitch.

Here is our reminder on here that Braun has been at .281/.303/.547/.850 over the last month.

Shaw on the other hand: .200/.342/.283/.625 [sarcasm](he will fit right in at 2B)[/sarcasm]

Braun never used to get himself out by only swinging at pitches outside the zone. I can't wait until we are healthy enough to put him back on the bench.

When Cain and Yelich are back, it should just be a straight platoon in LF for Braun and Thames. Aguilar starts everyday at 1st.

Sure you can criticize him for it. Yes, it happens, but if you swing away 3-0 with RISP and pop up a pitch you deserve to be criticized.

Over the course of his career, the low outside slider has always seemed to be Braun's main kryptonite. That said, he has been getting a little worse at laying off of it over the last couple years from what I've seen on TV.
