Actually, with the power of Wily's fastball, 'm surprised the Brewers never tried him as a back-end pen guy.

They at least tried him in the bullpen, and there were no signs of him being good. Wily, at the very least, needed a change of scenery.

They did. Well they tried him as a pen guy but he sucked so it was pretty hard to put him at the back end.

Not saying we would have won/loss if it was different, but Counsell’s management of the 7th was complete garbage..

Literally no excuse that after a HR, single, and walk to open the inning Suter should have been allowed to stay in. None...at all.

This feels a lot like last year, having a great month then just treading water. A split against the Royals at home isn't acceptable, gotta go get a bat IMO

You just don’t keep the pace the Brewers were on. Some people’s expectations need to get a bit more realistic.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think Counsell has been a terrific manager, but I agree. This may be the biggest botched game by CC as a manager.

I completely agree with that state of mind. I think with the current talent we'll win about the same as last year, which is why I am advocating for adding a bat. The starting pitching is going to go through a rough patch at some point and we will fall out of contention quickly if we keep the same incredibly inconsistent offense.
