This is on an offense that is wildly inconsistent, not Counsell, again. We've had at least three games where Jesus Aguilar is the only run producer. Counsell makes one decision at a pivotal moment that doesn't work out, which is more memorable than the bad offense we've come to expect.

Not sure taking Suter out would have mattered the way Hader is throwing anyway.

The offense is bad but Counsell needs to pull his starter when it’s obvious that he’s lost it.

I think it's safe to say that today's game has been a combination of awful offense and questionable bullpen management. Suter was left in 2 batters too long and pulling Jeffress after one batter there is a head scratcher.

Spots 6 through 9 in the lineup a combined 0-24 in this series. It would make me happy to not see a Pina or Arcia at bat again for a while... I'm to the point where I don't care how many ground balls Miller boots at SS.

I know this is Kris Medlen's first time announcing but dude, maybe try something else.

Yeah I'm not sure how he got a spot in a booth. There could not have been a try out because he would have been instantly shown the door.

Ugly inning. Unsure about the pitching management by Counsell at times. Once Suter reached six innings in a close game, the bullpen should have been warming. Probably should've been a quicker hook. Don't really get the move from Jeffress to Hader. Regardless of how it turned out, I don't quite get the rationale. It isn't like Jeffress can't get outs in those type of jams.

In a 1-0 game you let Suter throw till ONE runner reaches in the 7th. That doesn’t seem like a hard concept but CC doesn’t get it. They either don’t come out for the 7th or they get left in to give up 4 runs. No way you let your starter take a loss after that start.

Pretty disappointing to not win back to back series at home, especially with the second series being against baseball's worst team.

Perez, Broxton, Pina, Arcia, Pitcher. You aren't going to win many games with that lineup.

True enough. But they've been pretty underwhelming offensively even at full strength.
