Corbin Burnes

Todd Rosiak posted an article this morning about Burnes' progress at AAA.

It's possible this is just a bit of a puff piece, but there are some encouraging bits in there for those who have been discouraged by his AAA numbers:

Things that jumped out to me:

- Burnes has been working a lot on his changeup this year, and feels like he has made strides with it. Could explain some of his struggles if he's trying to develop a pitch he's not that great with yet in games.

- His fastball is still listed as 93-96, which means his velo increase that was noted after his promotion to AA last year seems to have stuck around.

- His coaches have good things to say about him as a pitcher, a competitor, and a teammate.
