Man. Destroying the Cardinals, big error at the start of the inning, load them up, bomb a triple to center, and then another error to keep the bleeding going.

Yes...I like.

Also I missed that Ozuna HR run...erm fly ball robbery attempt. Yikes...just yikes.

I’m really enjoying watching the Cardinals hand us run after run. This is way better than the other way around.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Lack of playing time doesn't explain why he strikes out seemingly every time he bats. It's not asking much to at least put the ball in play. If he does that, then we can talk about lack of ABs as a viable reason.

He struck out 29 % of plate appearances last year, 32 % this year. Not a huge change, the irregular AB could cause a small change like that. The lack of power this year makes it more noticeable/less tolerable.

Can you imagine Brewerfan if the Crew played D like the Cards? Chernobyl-esque meltdown!

I'm sure that is exactly what is happening on the Cardinals boards...LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

You're making me want to go check the Cards boards.

Pretty tepid. I’ve been living in stl for about a year, and so many are just done with Matheny. Tonight has to be a low point. Bases loaded, nobody out is just the cherry on top.

Rock's story about Rob Deere striking out on 3 pitches against a position player is pretty good.

How quickly they forget about Perez striking out against a position player what, a week ago? Hilarious that he hit a homerun earlier in the game, too.

Suter has solidified himself as a solid member of the rotation. No shaky ground anymore. He's been very consistent for over a month, and is going deeper into games. He's not going to give you shut-outs, but he's not going to blow up on you either. If he can give you 6-7 innings every time out, and keep it under three runs, that works.
