Wilson Ramos

Someone help me here... Ramos can be traded even while on the DL, correct? I think there is a common belief that players on the DL are ineligible to be traded, but I am fairly certain that is false.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

DL’d players can be traded

This article from Bleacher Report:

Although it's not common, Major League Baseball does permit teams to trade players who are currently on the disabled list throughout the course of the season.

Although some contenders may not be willing to take a risk on a player who has spent a significant amount of time on the DL, others may take extreme measures and attempt to reel in a talented player who may not be the most healthy at the time the deal is struck.

They can be traded while on the DL - remember the potential Gomez trade that was going to send Wheeler back, who was recovering from TJ?

I'd be leery about going after a C with a bad hammy, though - even if a healthy Ramos would be an obvious upgrade over what the Brewers have behind the plate.
