I have my mlb app settings to get scoring updates from Brewers games. Anyone else do this and not getting them?

Damn, Thames just missed it.

Too bad he wasn’t out there playing RF for that ball.

Aguilar has pleasantly surprised me. Every time he tries to slide back down to ‘earth’ he gets going again!

Praise the Lord for Boone being gone... now just time to get rid of Sogard and send Arcia (maybe Santana too) down to get work. And we will be in the best position for a good run here.

Is it close to Miller time? I’m one To think Villar would be better at SS than Miller and run him out at 2b!

Seriously though, as long as he's got the arm for it I don't mind Thames in RF as a way of getting him and Aguilar both in. It's not like you're losing good D from the guy who started the year there.

At some point if they want to jumpstart this offense they'll need to decide how much defense they're willing to sacrifice and get their best bats in there.

UM. how can you be slumping with 12 rbi in 13 games

And now 15 rbis in 14 games

yes. he hit .214 for awhile. big deal

he has like like 35 rbis since may 1

Thats probably top 3 in the majors

Because you hit 3 in the order and Cain and Yelich are always on base. That’s how. Plus a couple of the few hits he had were dingers. That helps. It’s also great to see that even in a slump, he was able to help produce.

Yeah I don’t mind it either. And if Thames is just “meh” in LF and RF, you might as well play Yelich in LF where he won a gold glove. Santana must not be sleeping well these days.

Thats fair

he has had a lot of runners on

but he has also hit .303 with none on and an OBP of .384

and hit .279 with runners on

My only beef is that my statline said he was hitting .243 when yours said .214

and he still is the highest run producer per AB in the NL except saurez

My belief is you CANT be slumping if you are getting an rbi a game

That makes sense doesnt it

No on else on the team is doing it

The guy has 45 rbis in 186 ABs for christ sake lol

thats a third of a season for some batters

Up until the last few at bats, he was slumping. It’s the last I’ll say of it because it’s like talking to a wall. He was in the low .200’s all of June. It’s really okay. Even the best hitters of all time go through slumps. Using RBIs is not a great stat to use sometimes FYI.

I'll give credit for that nice contact to Arcia. And even though he went nowhere it cleared the pitcher's spot. There's value in that.

He smoked two balls yesterday as well. Hope is still there for me. It’s been hard but I really want that guy to succeed. Defense is a game changer.
