Dylan Bundy

I know the O's are hard to figure out, but is there a chance that they might be willing to look into trade packages for Bundy before the deadline, or is this someone that they'd keep off limits? I think he's got 3.5 years left on his contract, so I'm sure they wouldn't be motivated to move him this soon - especially since they always seem to have a false sense of competitiveness in that organization. But, with Machado leaving (probably this summer), maybe they would finally realize that they need to just tear the entire thing down and do a full rebuild?

With that said, would a Burnes, Ray and Ortiz package be enough for them to consider moving him? Or, would we have to go Hiura & Burnes in a package to even get them to blink?

The O's are in a huge fix, with two outrageous contracts on the books for Davis and Cobb. It's going to take them 4 years minimum and hitting on their top draft picks the next 3 years to crawl out of their hole. Bundy's by far their most marketable player and now's the time they should deal him to kick start their rebuild. Machado and Britton will get some value back as rentals but Bundy will cost a team a lot.

I think the asking price for Bundy would be outrageous, and rightfully so. If we could get Gausman for a lesser package, I might go for that. The guy has good stuff and just seems to be one of those players desperately in need of a change of scenery.
