Williams has been good lately, need at least 1 from him, maybe 2.

I'd probably have him 3rd on my list. Assuming Jeffress can do an inning. Knebel/Hader unavailable

With a 4 run lead, I would let him start the 8th and hope he finishes it off. Any trouble get someone in quick, but if we could get through tonight with Anderson/Williams that would be huge.

Who do we trust tonight? Jeffress should be able to do one and then get the next two days off. After that, Barnes? I really don't trust either 'lefty specialists'

To get this win I would squeeze one hitter each out of Jeffress, Hader and Knebel to get through an inning.

Hader has gone twice in the last 3 games and almost 40 pitches last night. Nothing about the way he has been used in the past suggests he will be available IMO.

Oh how we have missed this Chase Anderson. This Chase Anderson is the ace we need.

Guerra hasn’t been enough ace for ya?

“Orlando Arcia fighting some hitting demons right now.” -BA

That is one sad sad fight.

And there it is. Orlando Arcia: .199 AVG .498 OPS

Perhaps a shotgun and chainsaw would be more useful than a bat.

Arcia needs to stop playing. It’s sad when he has gotten so bad I wonder if we should bat the pitcher 8th...because the pitcher looks better at the plate.

I wish I was kidding.

Yeah he's absolutely lost at the plate. It's like Villar last year only worse. He needs AAA at bats, we just need someone to replace him that can play good defense.

I would agree based upon how he has been used. I am just saying that I would do it for the right situation and hitter.

Miller is on the way.

Wow... Another HR robbed this time by Yelich....

Jokes aside, you really don't think Braun robbed a HR last night?

I think he ws far enough in front of the wall that the ball wouldn't have gone out. Just my opinion but I thought it was fairly obvious.

Dubon injury was brutal...and then every other competent possibility did too.

At least Villar showed occassional signs of life last year. I’m surprised they don’t have Arcia try to bunt and get on base. Clear Arcia isn’t going to figure it out at the MLB level and I bet they are just waiting for a replacement to be ready.

That hit for Sogard might just get him the playing time. That is more than Arcia provides in a week it feels like.

If he was allowed to go 100 pitches like an ace should last night could have been vastly different.

Sogard can take a walk... and the hit by Sogard was harder than anything Arcia has hit in what seems like forever... forget about past OPS... from now until they can bring up Miller and bring back Saladino, Sogard (sic) is the best option...

I just watched in slow motion again a couple times.. His glove was just over the wall when he caught it. Either that, or my eyes are finally shot.

Wouldn’t worry about it. It was a nice play and for some, Braun can’t make nice plays.
