It seemed like Arcia’s at-bat was a duel between a pitcher determined to walk a batter, and a batter determined not to let the pitcher walk him.

Arcia... sure seems like a lost cause at this point , doesn’t he?

I've made my feelings on Arcia very well known. He is. Just doesn't seem interested in improving and just happy to be here.

Do you expect him to just start acting like eyore and not play with energy?

A lost cause? What a joke. Some people.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yeah getting sent down to AAA doesn’t make him a lost cause. Sound like a bunch of buffoons talking like that.

Man I’m sorry I can’t get over that pop up 3-0 yesterday ... let me mope please lol ... I’m tired of the lack of plate discipline ESPECIALLY when struggling - they teach you from a young age to see more pitches to avoid swinging at junk. And seems like he just doesn’t get it.

It sucks at this moment our other option is hitting half of what Arcia is lol

He might not be a lost cause but he's certainly lost at the plate right now.

Energy has nothing to do with it. Showing energy alone isn't going to make him a better player.

How the hell would you know? Quick answer.. you don’t. You don’t have the slightest clue. For all we know he has blisters on his hands from working on his craft. This stuff is so blantantly silly.

Yeah, there’s no debating that. I’m definitely not.

If Orlando Arcia gets out in his next two ABs his AVG. will drop below .200 and his OPS will be south of .500

I just can’t fathom how you trot that out when you are trying to compete. It’s been 2.5 months...hard to call it a slow start now.

But we have went over this, there are no options right now. There will be soon, but right now, there just isn’t.

I was hoping when I saw the DL for Albers that they would use that for Miller since in the event of an injury the 10 day rule is not in effect and then summon a RP by sending down Arcia...

Right, I get that. It’s to the point where I’d let Nate Orf get a shot. I mean jeez. It is a level of suck unfathomable.

I was too. But like another poster mentioned, he hasn’t played here since 2016 and probably needs some time.
