Wouldn't be surprised to see a HS OF picked, like Alek Thomas or Joe Gray. Think I've seen Nander De Sedas associated with the Brewers as well.

Good call!

Wilcox have signability issues? Surprised he is still around

Yah, at this point a team isn’t going to sign him unless they have lots of spare money from underslotting. Since he was a second half 1st rounder I would guess he might have tipped teams that he isn’t likely to sign.

The Brewers all over guys that were hyped early on in this high school draft class. [sarcasm]Maybe they are working off an old issue of Baseball America.[/sarcasm] :)
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Alek Thomas is who I think we go with, Pompey wouldn’t surprise me

Well I had OF part right, I do like Gray though! Huge arm, and great pop. Not as advanced of a hitter like Lutz, Clark (Grisham), Turang, and other more recent early targets..... sounds more like a Ray type bat (the electric hands and bat speed but some inconsistent contact). Lot of boom here.... some bust as well

Stearns loves athleticism and Gray represents that. I was impressed with him in the televised All Star Games I saw. Sort of a "poor man's Jo Adell" though I suspect his bat will take longer to develop than Adell's

Just keep taking outfielders, Ray, Lutz, Gray, eventually one of them will make it...

In that case they are still searching for the name of the Tribe comp A pick..

Torres is still 17 & turns 18 in mid-October. Talk about young (& making me feel real old)....

Gray is also the first Brewers draft pick to have been born in the year 2000. Yikes! :indifferent

I remember when I first joined the site & following draft here & 1983/1984 DOB was young.... aka Weeks & Fielder. Getting old
