2018-05-23: Diamondbacks (Godley) at Brewers (Suter) 12:40 PM CDT [Brewers win, 9-2]

Suter is just what the DBacks needed! You're welcome guys!

If what they needed was to not score any runs in the 3rd, then you are correct ;)

Ugh I'm sorry.. I just can't get excited... or NOT be negative with the trash he throws up there... it's like when Doug Jones was our CLOSER.... Oh LAAAAWD.

I really do not like Suter as an SP. If he was our long relief guy or spot starter I'd be OK with it, but I do not like him as a starter at all. The "he just got them out!" wears me down. I don't want 5-ERA guys in our rotation. There is no reason for it when our starters usually go 5 innings.

I've seen plenty of Brewers pitchers throw mid-90s stuff and get pounded over the years. If Suter gets the job done, I don't care how he does it.

Saladino looks like he's never seen a curveball before.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I'll say this about Suter, the man just competes. He gives everything he's got and that is a breath of fresh air at times. Now let's go get him some runs!

Bandy just earned another month in the bigs.

....but doesn't take 3rd on that misplay on the bunt.

I kind of wish they would bunt Perez.

I think that's why I like the guy. He is the Yin to Willy Peralta's Yang.

Suter is never going to be an ace, but there is no reason ha cannot carve out a career as an above-average #4-5 guy in a decent rotation. Say what you will about his stuff, but the ability to go on short rest, be yo-yo'd around from the rotation to the pen and give everything he has every time out is very valuable.

He may be out but this is one of those replays where how can you tell for sure to overturn it?

And they didn't. Good!
