....and so the Sogard Scapegoat hat passes to Bandy. Perez and Villar high-five in the corner!

Eh, I don’t know. People have been pretty down on Bandy for awhile now. The difference is Counsell isn’t trying to make him a starter like he did with Sogard.

And Bandy would be fine if there wasn’t a catcher in the minors that is supposed to be superior defensively and is have a nice head offensively. What is to hurt trying that route?

Probably nothing. Experience with the staff might count for a little. Bandy probably isn't quite this bad and he might just as easily have a couple good weeks as Bethancourt. He was gangbusters to start last year, if you recall.

Lots of teams probably want a better back-up catcher though. I'm saving my anger for if/when they make some kind of impulsive win-now trade, and I'm glad to say I might be waiting a long time.

I know the Brewers bats are prone to poor stretches, but Odorizzi has seemed to have done a nice job keeping the Brewers hitters guessing at the plate these first two times through the order.

Here we go Jett. Time to shut us up a bit.

Some umps would have tossed Shaw right there for that, glad this wasn't one of them.

I can’t remember seeing him lose his cool to that extent. Maybe I am forgetting some other examples, but it seemed really unnecessary.

Suter is a better hitter than Bandy.

And now he’s probably cost us a run. What a bum.

He would have scored anyway.

No, he wouldn't have. He would have been at 2nd, the infield wouldn't have been drawn in and it would have been a routine groundout instead of an RBI single.

Jennings may not even have entered the game, who knows. Either way, Bandy isn’t good. It’s been pretty apparent for awhile.
