Plus, you'll hear the media session with Davies after his 4–2/3 scoreless innings and nine strikeout performance. Also, Payton Henry and Matt Erickson have postgame comments from the clubhouse."

Light on baserunners, but how impressive was listening to and reading about catcher Payton Henry (.314/.377/.510 in 2018) from our post above, as he won't even turn 21 until next month!

Final, Game One: Memphis 11, Colorado Springs 3

Final, Game Two: Memphis 11, Colorado Springs 4

SKY SOX SWEPT BY REDBIRDS IN SATURDAY DOUBLEHEADER

cut.jpg

Keon Broxton finished a triple away from the cycle in game two. In four pitches (three at-bats) through four innings, Broxton homered, doubled, and singled.

Also from the write-up from Game Two:

The 10-run top of the first inning by Memphis marks the FIRST time in Sky Sox history (during the Triple-A era, since 1988), where an opponent scores 10 runs in the first inning.

So you can read more about the carnage at the link above.

Darn you, Colorado Springs playing conditions...

Roegner has all but locked up Clancy's new #1 prospect status. :)

He's climbing my list.

My question is...How close is he to Suter?

Well, he's a 22nd round pick, not a 31st rounder... but this is definitely looking like a steal.
