Have we ever brought Barnes in with runners on and had it work out? He seems like the last guy you want to not start his own inning.

Cutters and sliders don't work in Colorado - the air isn't thick enough to cause enough friction with the seams to make them break and they are usually thrown too hard to break. To be successful in Colorado you have to change speeds. Barnes doesn't have enough speed delta between his fastball and cutter; he won't do well in Colorado.
