Hoping this is a good pitching matchup.

 

I mean, I'm *hoping* we shell Bettis & put up some crooked number. But a good punch-for-punch pitcher matchup would be fun to watch too.

If they have completely given up on him, then why waste the roster spot. This seems stupid.

 

If there is something going on behind the scenes, then ok, but otherwise, I don't see why they can't let him play every day until June and see what they have. He should have been starting since opening day so we could evaluate what we have.

 

It's a head scratcher.

Why has nobody in the media asked Counsell about Villar? It's reached a point that's quite baffling.

 

CC never gets asked the tough questions. It's frustrating.

Sure Villar can be frustrating at times, but overall he still is the ‘best’ 2b option. The only way to get things going for him would be to play every day. If they aren’t going to do that and see if we have 2016 Villar or if we have 2017 Villar then let’s sign some gritty vet or some other Franklin esque putz to waste AB’s on... I digress.

I am not so sure that should be in blue. He should've froze until in went through. Yet he was moving forward when it was apparent it was going to be caught.

Have to admit that I am a big fan of the vests. Worst looking thing on the diamond these days are most team's road uniforms with that awful gray/off-white color. Like the picture of Woodruff in the first post of this thread. Those uniforms are 100% butt-ugly and I can't wait for the day when they go away. People make fun of the colorful uniforms back in the 70s, but I think they are a million times better than the road uniforms of today. Never understood what would be so attractive about having all road teams looking like a bunch of concrete blocks.
