That was not a strike

Why do you think this? TV pitch track and my phone app had it hitting plenty of the plate.

TV had it right on the edge, but the mark was right where it hit the glove, not where it crossed. Looked like it looped the plate to me

Tv had it right down the middle. As did mlb.com. It was just a tough pitch.

I know a lot of posters here don't like Suter, but he was the definition of clutch tonight. Perhaps long relief/spot starting is his best role? Will be interesting to see where they go now. I imagine Miley's spot in the rotation will be between Woodruff or Suter.

Can the Brewers now trade Arcia?

I really am tired of a .216 batting average and .566 OPS.

I mean... can't we get some offense?

Sure. Right with Suter. Should be one heck of a deal.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Keston Hiura got pulled from the game in the 6th inning tonight. Did this coincide with Franklin getting hurt?

Hiura is not getting called up.......breathe easy....

I should have put it in blue... Anyways, with some of the recent transactions, it wouldn’t shock me!

The Brewers have the second lowest total runs scored and third worst offensive OPS in the National League and they are on pace to win 95 games based on their win percentage. I know they’ve played some bad teams, but that still seems bizarre.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Hiura is getting the "glass case" treatment this year.

He actually got the start at 2b tonight. Turned a double play and got pulled the following inning. Hopefully he didn’t get injured.

Brewers should go trade for Starlin Castro and Realmuto and end this madness of having a lousy offense.

I know the kid is a great hitter, but I'm really starting to question the validity of a National League team drafting a guy in the first round who may never be able to play defense. If he's hurt, get him under the knife and stop prolonging things.

Surgical repairs are not 100% on recovery. Some people are never able to come all the way back to pre-injury/ pre-surgery form.

If Hiura & the Brewers EXHAUST all other treatment options, then yes, its time for getting the surgery.

Otherwise, surgery should be the last resort..

Hiura didn't play in the field hardly at all his last two years of college because of the same reason. I'm not sure how much more could possibly be exhausted. It's just an odd situation to have such an advanced bat that looks to be held back by an inability to play defense. It isn't even that he's a bad defender. It's that he physically cannot do it.

suter delivered. He is the best #4 we have right now and with our closer back all we need are 5 good or decent innings.

We are young and if we get to the playoffs this year then we will contend for the next 5 years. Its goin to be a fun year and if we are competing, we will prolly pick up a player later in the year. First priority is a #1 pitcher.
