On June 23rd, the Brewers will be naming the broadcast booth in the right field corner to “Nelly’s Corner”. The Brewers will also be wearing a “Nelly” memorial patch on their sleeves during the series with the Cardinals from June 21st through the 24th.

 

An awesome tribute for an awesome man!

Nelly deserves multiple tributes...

I would hope that when the Tribe visits Milwaukee & the Brewers visit Cleveland, something is done as well.

 

ICYMI: Nelson was the 1st base coach in Cleveland when Tribe went to the series in 95. I think he was still a coach during the 97 season/ trip before he became part of the radio booth after the retirement of Herb Score (after the 97 season)..
