Davies to 10 day DL (right rotator cuff inflammation)

Let's see if he makes it through the start first before we worry about who's spot he takes... lol... remember he wasn't even going to be DL'd at first for this injury ....

I agree 100% that the "deserves to stay" standings are

1. Peralta

2. Woody

3. Suter

Let's see how Peralta does in start 2 and how Suter does tonight and then line them up. Woodruff had a nice bounce back outing but right now the D-Backs are putting a very weak lineup on the field. No offense as he had the winning hit the other night, but if Descalso is your #3 hitter, you have problems.

This is true. I just don't trust Suter with his junk balling... it doesn't translate to less than 3-5 runs in 3-5 innings and that some nights is plenty to doom us. At least Woody and Peralta have that big game potential.

They don't need big game potential in May. They need a guy who can be counted on to keep the game within reach every time out. Could Peralta keep a spot with another very good start? Sure. But I'm betting Suter stays and Woodruff goes to make room for Anderson on Monday.

Another nice start and I keep Peralta until he falls apart. The ceiling with Suter is so low. It won’t take much for Peralta to top that. If he struggles 3-5 times in a row with maybe on one good start in there then yah maybe let Suter pitch.

Just keep the bum on the DL.

What do you mean? He's a decent pitcher. There's no controversy about him starting when he's healthy.

Probably thought it was the Braun thread.

Oh, snap.

;)

Just acting like a select few :laughing ps. I like Davies.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I'm like 99% positive he was joking in reaction to my post and the post from the guy saying that it would be underwhelming to bring Davies up in place of the one hit wonder to this point, Peralta. That though, may be the single worst take I've seen in 15 years of coming to this board.

:laughing I hope you don’t plan on heading to the casino anytime soon.

Meh. People like exciting young pitchers and Peralta is that. Not that big of a deal. Of course Davies is going to have a spot if he's healthy.

Davies listed as probable starter for Thursday.

Guessing Woody goes down, as the Crew seems to really want a lefty in the rotation. Suter has been serviceable so far, so hopefully he keeps it up tomorrow!

all these things happened today or will happen tomorrow.
