I scratched my head a bit to trade up for Burke. Interesting physical guy, but didn't think they needed to trade up to get him.

Lack of any OLB is also a bit surprising, but there didn't seem to be any great players there this year...

Well so far the Packers haven’t had that draft selection that has me scratching my head.

Where is the TE pick?!

Very slim pickings now there if you are looking for an athletic playmaking TE. Fumagalii, maybe Andew Vollert from Weber St. or Tyler Conklin from Central Michigan...... but mostly inline guys like Ryan Izzo

Still six selections to go. TE was not our biggest need and it isn’t a strong draft class.

Edit: I’ve always thought it’d be a late round guy that they try to mold while they have Graham.

I won’t be scratching my hea if we found a physical freak who can cover as a MLB in the middle of the field. Been missing for awhile.

Really bad Edge class.......really really bad. There was Chubb........ Landry dropped for reason, size and length aren't great. There was only 5 taken in first two days. Very few of them scream impact. Most either don't have great size or length, are not explosive, or really under produced for athletic ability.

You can't just take guys because you need a playmaker there if there is not impact guys on board for you. Hopefully 2019 isn't as awful

Probably a good reason why Matthews wasn’t ask to take a cut or release. Going to need him.

I think it's still possible they take an Edge like Ejiofor or Okoronkwo with one of the 5ths just to add a body to the rotation. If not, it's probably an indicator that they believe Biegel will factor in significantly more than he did last year. It's possible that Biegel's injury had a substantial detriment to both his development and the team's ability to use him even when he was able to play.

Also, why the heck did Tyrell Crosby fall so far? Something newsworthy that I missed today? Just came off in the 5th.

With 2 first round picks next year, we have ammo to go get Nick Bosa if we want to. But overall with talent like the two beast from Clemson Ferrell & Bryant, Terrell Lewis at Alabama, Joe Jackson the U, Josh Allen Kentucky, Montez Sweat Miss St. and if Brian Burns fills out body.....those are all 1st round talents who have excellent EDGE size (beside burns and Allen who need weight), are explosive and produce a lot of sacks and TFLs.

I don't think you pick a TE just for the sake of picking one if the guys available aren't that good.

I think the point is that they may have been able to get him without trading up.

Possibly. But there’s probably a reason they made the trade.

Any chance they grab Falk if he’s there? He could be a guy that nets them a second round pick in a few years. The backup QB position is far from settled. Huntley showed nothing and Kizer has a long way to go.

Wouldn't have expected the Moore pick. The 40 time is 4.60 is which is a concern when coming off a year where the play speed of the receivers was the slowest in the NFL.

Ran 4.49 at pro day. Lots of reports that he ran further than 40 yards at the combine, adding time.

Here's video of his combine workout:

I’d wait a year before targeting QB. Kizer is fine as a #2 and Hundley will either be 3 or not there.

Packers go WR MVS out of USF in 5th...... Tall, long, and can flat out run. Height of Clark, Speed of Davis/Janis. Slight & lean build to him (think Plaxico Burress or even G. Allison). Interesting to see what he offers. Building up perimeter competition on both sides of the ball
