First look at Christian Taugner. Not listening so don't know about velocity but doesn't appear to be a hard thrower. Maybe 90-91. Has a bit of late life on his FB. Throws what Diaz has signalled as a slider but to me looks like a curve, so we'll call it a slurve. 1-7 break, sometimes more lateral, doesn't appear to have tremendous depth. In my glancing back and forth between the game and work have only seen a changeup or two. Clearly a command-based pitcher who works the corners hard and tries to keep off the barrell of the bat by moving the ball around in and out of the zone. If he misses, will get some balls rocked. Stuff works at this level. Will be interested to see how command, especially FB command, plays at a more advanced level.

Edit: He's getting a lot of calls on low inside and low outside corners, some a little generous, which seems to be causing LumberKing hitters to expand their zone and not get as much solid contact on hittable pitches. If Taugner isn't getting those corner calls, he might get into trouble. Also appears to be mixing in 4- and 2- seam fastballs, with the 2-seamer having some decent life at the end, as mentioned above.

Wisconsin Box Score

See my breakdown of Taugner above. Right after I stopped watching, he apparently starting catching more of the plate and got knocked around in the 5th for a few runs.

I believe this is the 57th time this season the offense has scored exactly 2 runs. While they don't have the lowest team batting average, the Rattlers do have the lowest team OBP in the Midwest League, and have scored the fewest number of runs per game.

That's the 2nd ejection for Dubon I can remember (there was this one last August).

For this current game, 03:11:30 minute mark via MiLB.TV for subscribers.

Dubon, who sure appeared to be safe on the play at first, barked from the dugout on the ensuing pitches, and was tossed.
